Suffolk University's Robert S. Friedman Field Station:
Edmunds, Maine
The Robert S. Friedman Field Station (FFS) of Suffolk University is located at Cobscook Bay in Edmunds, Maine.  Cobscook Bay is part of the lower Bay of Fundy system and is noted for its great tidal fluctuation and its abundance of boreal coastal marine life.  The laboratory is a 40-acre camping field station accommodating approximately 50 persons in residence.  Student, faculty and staff housing is in small cabins requiring sleeping bags.  A central Comfort Station provides shower and lavatory facilities.  Meals are prepared by a kitchen staff and are served in a dining facility.  Classroom and laboratory facilities support the instructional program, supplemented by a circulating sea water system and two 13' Boston Whalers.  The station is operated seasonally with a full summer offering of courses and as needed for special course-related field studies.

Add yours!

Amelia Research & Recovery is always looking for new links to add to our website.  Although we have no hard and fast rules on what links can and cannot be added to our links page, we do try to keep our outside links within our general industry and the issues surrounding it.
We encourage you to submit your website link to our links page using the online form below.  Once we receive it, our Webmaster will visit your website, categorize it and add it to our links page (which may take several days). In return, of course, we ask that you add an "In kind" link to our website from yours.  The link URL is https://www.ameliaresearch.com and a simple text link is sufficient. However, if you would like to add a "Banner" or Graphic link to your website in support of Amelia Research & Recovery, please contact our Webmaster here and we'll develop a custom graphic to be placed on your website.
